A drug and alcohol recovery home requires a structured approach to support individuals on their journey to sobriety.
These are some of the actions we take to ensure a safe, supportive, and effective recovery environment:
• Admission and Intake Procedures & Screening: We conduct thorough assessments to determine the appropriateness of the facility for each individual. We consider factors such as the level of addiction, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the person’s readiness for change.
• Orientation: We provide new residents with clear information about the house rules, daily schedule, expectations, and available support services.
• House Rules and Expectations of a Substance-Free Environment: We maintain a strict policy against the use of drugs and alcohol on the premises. Implement regular, random drug testing if necessary.
• Curfew and Attendance: Our residents are required to adhere to guidelines for curfew and attendance at scheduled meetings.
• Safety and Security Emergency Procedures: We establish and communicate clear procedures for emergencies, including medical emergencies, fires, and other safety issues.
• Meetings: Twelve-Step recovery meetings are required, daily - either in-person, or Zoom.
