When We Say, "Thank You"...
We mean it

and Here's why -

When someone is the victim of circumstances beyond their control, the willingness and desire to help them comes quite easily.

In fact, (for most), the desire to help springs forth so reflexively, it is difficult to ignore.

However, when it comes to the willingness and desire to help someone recovering from drug addiction, and/or alcoholism - (more often than not), the opposite is true.

The easiest response is, "I'm not helping you.  You made bad choices, so you deal with them."

While this is the easiest and most common response, we thank you for knowing the answer to this question:

How often does "easy" = "right ?

So... when we say, "Thank You", we mean it.
